Multi-Perspective, Simultaneous Embedding

We describe MPSE: a Multi-Perspective Simultaneous Embedding method for visualizing high-dimensional data, based on multiple pairwise distances between the data points. Specifically, MPSE computes positions points in 3D and provides different views into by means of 2D projections (planes) that preserve each given distance matrices. consider two versions problem: fixed variable projections. with takes as input set matrices defined points, along same number embeds so are preserved while also computing appropriate distances. The proposed approach can be useful scenarios: from creating simultaneous embedding graphs vertices, to reconstructing object snapshots, analyzing view. provide functional prototype is an adaptive stochastic generalization multi-dimensional scaling extensive quantitative evaluation datasets sizes using projections, well several examples illustrate quality resulting solutions.
